Based my purchase on Gokey boat shoe size 101/2 d which I have worn for years with no problem and I can not seem to be able to wear out. Great shoe. The 101/2 d penny loafer is too long but I think a 10 would be too short. I really like the penny loafer (I put dimes from the 1940s in them instead of pennies) and will put a bit of foam rubber into the toe unless you know of a better way to make them fit a bit better.

The Bison Penny Loafers are my fourth pair of Gokey’s. They’re a great American made shoe. One of my pair of shoes that were about a year old had a sole that separated and Gokey took them back, repaired them, and returned them. I’m a huge Gokey fan – they’re as good as they get.

I purchased these Bison Penny loafers in hopes that the vamp would not be too short. Unfortunately the shoe would not stay on my foot. They are great shoes and if the vamp were longer by about 1″, they would likely work very well. Gokey products are top notch in my book and I own both the camp moc and the low cut oxford which are both fine durable shoes. I unfortunately had to return the loafers due to fit. Thanks for making such fine products.

The fit and finish is super. I have never had a shoe manufactured this way. I am trying to get used to the way it is welted to the sole. The customer service responses on shipping and RMAs are a little on the slow side but the product speaks for itself and makes up for it.

The loafers are exactly what I expected. Quality, good looks and indestructibility are all part of Gokey’s prestigious history. However, my 13D ordered shoe size appears to be built on a spacious sized dye. So beware, your regular shoe size may be too big. My advice, communicate directly with Customer Service for their onsite feedback from the manufacturing floor.
